Martin Jennings - Sculpting in Bronze

Martin Jennings is a sculptor who has worked on several important public commissions, including Charles Dickens in Portsmouth, the John Betjeman in St Pancras station and Philip Larkin in Hull. Most recently Martin was commissioned to design a statue of celebrated war-time nurse Mary Seacole for St Thomas's Hospital in London. In this video, Martin discusses the process of working in bronze which has not altered much since the Renaissance - and his love of masters such as Rodin.
